1.) Power Snatch 10x2
2.) Trap Bar Deadlift 4x4
3.) Tabata Circuit
A.) Box Jump 24"
B.) Handstand (against wall if necessary)
C.) Jumping Lunges
D.) Battling Ropes
Perform 20 seconds of work with precisely 10 seconds of rest for 8 sets, then proceed to next exercise. Handstands are for stability and balance while stressed. Should be fun after box jumps. Have fun keeping your heart in your chest.
Hi Matt,
ReplyDeletea great blog and I'm going to start this lean strength program next week (having a deload week, focusing on schoolwork and just fooling around in the gym)
Just a question, what do you think would be a good alternative to the battle ropes, since i don't really have the possibility to use those? ball slams, kb work?
thanks
swings or slams are good, sure
ReplyDeletehey matt, great blog, you thought about tryin some intermittant fasting to lean out along with these workouts? wouldnt take too long to get where you need to be. just a thought,
ReplyDeleteI've been planning on experimenting with IF this cycle, maybe just on Sundays when I don't train.
ReplyDeleteJust got done with this! IT was great, ankle was strong enough to do the box jumps and jumping lunges! The handstands were a killer had to come down before the 20 seconds on the last 2 rounds but i went back up to finish it off! Feeling great matt, thanks!
